Fritsch & The Jims

This is the main project I’m part of. I play guitar and bass.
We play Austrogroove. This is a combination of Austropop (since our lyrics are in Austrian Dialect) and groove music more generally. I was raised musically on Funk and Blues, so that’s basically all I can play authentically and it substantially influences the sound of the band.

The Jims

The Jims arose out of friendship, love, pure fun. The name comes from Jim Morrison, lead singer of The Doors. Growing up, we referred to each other as ‘Jim’ instead of ‘Dude’ or ‘Bro’ and it stuck.

We’ve been playing together ever since our first band. For our tenth anniversary, we recorded a live album with four original songs and a cover of ‘Have you ever seen the rain?’ by CCR. That was one of my Dad’s favorite songs. The concert was the only time we’ve ever played these songs. Basically everything was improvised. It was great fun!

Amanda

This is a great psychedelic rock band constituted by some very good friends of mine. They sing in Austrian Dialect. I recorded a live album with them as a guest musician.
